David grew up in the European car industry watching his father import, sell and service BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Ferrari vehicles. When he was 18, his father sent him to work at a local BMW dealership where he learned firsthand what truly makes BMW’s the ultimate driving machine. Fast-forward through 4-years of college with a degree in marketing and finance to when his father could not get him to stop working at that local BMW dealership! Eventually the dealership owner sold out to a larger corporation and all the personal service became secondary to profit. David noticed everything they did wrong and knew how simple it was to fix. In 2005 he founded Foreign Motorcars, Inc. with one goal in mind: to provide clients with a simple and honest approach to buying and servicing their BMW. Today David performs service with Brad in the shop and handles most of the day to day business of Foreign Motorcars.
Kyle’s experience with European cars started at Volkswagen when he was just 19. He quickly gained a reputation for his integrity, honesty and straight forward approach to buying and selling cars. Although many car dealers still do not understand this approach, Kyle’s customers loved and followed him through his career to Foreign Motorcars. Kyle is a man of his word; if he says he’ll do something for you, it will be done. Since he does all the buying and selling of our BMW’s himself, he likes to work by appointment to guarantee our clients his undivided attention. When it comes to buying cars, Kyle has a reputation in the industry for being very discriminating. Our BMW’s must exceed his standards in every way from ownership history to structural integrity, cosmetic and mechanical condition. He can quickly distinguish “exceptional” pre-owned BMW’s from “mediocre” ones. His meticulous attention to detail during the inspection process ensures that only the finest vehicles pass through the doors of Foreign Motorcars.
Brad walked through the front door of Foreign Motorcars May of 2009 curious who we were and what we were all about. He hasn’t left since. Brad was an entrepreneur working with high line vehicles on the South Shore looking to expand his business. We immediately hit it off and today Brad runs the service shop. His extensive knowledge of BMW’s is unmatched. He understands how they operate through various control modules and their list of common faults and how to properly repair them.
